Twist-Out for Short Kinky Curls

Create springy, defined curls with this twist-out style for natural hair, using products from Ouidad’s NEW Curl Immersion collection for kinky curls.

Ouidad Curl Immersion™ Low-Lather Coconut Cleansing Conditioner

Ouidad Curl Immersion™ No-Lather Coconut Cream Cleansing Conditioner


Steps:

1. Start with freshly cleansed and conditioned, damp curls. (Try Ouidad's NEW Curl Immersion™ Low-Lather Coconut Cleansing Conditioner and No-Lather Coconut Cream Cleansing Conditioner, formulated to cleanse kinky curls without stripping moisture.)

2. Take a section of hair and work a dime-size amount of Ouidad Curl Immersion™ Silky Soufflé Setting Crème from roots to ends.

3. Twist the section of hair into a tight coil. TIP: The smaller the section, the tighter and more defined your curls will look at the end.

4. Keep applying crème and twisting until all sections are finished.

5. Set hair overnight, or until dry.

6. Gently remove the twists.

7. Use your fingers or a pick to perfect the shape of your twist-out style.

8. Pin curls to one side with a bobby pin.
